Crafted entirely from Muscat Canelli, this highly aromatic and joyous expression of this charming varietal. This Moscato represents St Supéry’s only off-dry wine and provides a welcome counterpoint to their already impressive portfolio. 49% of all Napa Valley Muscat Canelli is grown by St Supéry.
Vineyard
The Dollarhide Vineyard is often referred to as a “valley within a valley”, featuring elevations ranging from 600 to 1,100 feet above sea level, seven different soil series, 13 soil variations and unique microclimates.
Winemaking
Vinified quickly and simply in stainless steel, bottling within 6 months of harvest. The only off-dry white produced by the estate.
Vintage
A wet winter and spring allowed excellent water retention going into a somewhat warm and dry summer, providing for consistent and balanced ripening. A notably warm fall provided extended pick times, further allowing for optimal fruit.
Tasting Note
Flavors of ripe honeydew melon and orange blossom are supported by notes of dried apricot and tangerine zest that linger.
