The Gazette recommended Minuty Prestige 2019 and M de Minuty 2019 as two of the best rosés to seek out this summer. While he does highlight styles of rosé from around the world, he emphasizes those from Provence as the category leader. He adds “the wines are mostly grenache (often with cinsault and syrah)” and that “the area along the Côte d’Azur, has a long history with rosé as a prominent drink.”
Minuty is based in the heart of Saint-Tropez, and has become emblematic with this style of wine. As for the wines, “from Château Minuty, an 18th-century estate using sustainable methods, there is the crisp but smooth M de Minuty ($23) and the brisk, creamy, estate-grown Prestige ($30).”
