Ponzi Vineyards Avellana Pinot Noir 2017 (91 WA)

The 2017 Pinot Noir Avellana Vineyard, aged 20 months in 50% new French oak, has a medium ruby color and aromas of blackberries and red berries with notes of blood orange peel, underbrush and cured meats. Medium-bodied, the palate has dense, concentrated fruits with a grainy frame and good freshness, finishing long and über spicy.”
