South American wines gain commercial success, worldwide popularity

Finca Decero’s 2015 The Owl & The Dust Devil was included in a story featuring South American wines, which ran across all five regional publications of Florida Weekly (distributed locally in Fort Myers, Naples, Charlotte County, Bonita Springs, and Palm Beach). Wine writer Jerry Greenfield briefed readers with a short history of winemaking in South America and the increased popularity of wines from countries like Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. Jerry specifically noted that The Owl & The Dust Devil Red Blend Mendoza offers seductive aromas of smoke, tobacco, black fruit and a definite hint of cinnamon.” The story included a photo of the wine’s front label and advised readers to look to the back label to find out the origin of the wine’s name.
